Emerging pop artist Sierra Zionn makes her debut with “1AM,” an emotionally charged single exploring the intoxicating pull of toxic love and the difficult process of learning to choose yourself.

Inspired by Sierra's own experiences, “1AM” captures the contradiction of a relationship that can feel passionate and exhilarating while simultaneously leaving you feeling lost, hurt and disconnected from yourself.

“I needed a way to explain the toxic tornado of love that I was in where I felt constantly swept off my feet but also left in the dark.”

The title comes from Sierra's relationship with the late-night hours - a time she describes as both the setting for some of her best and worst memories and a private space where she has always found creativity and solace.

At its heart, “1AM” is about more than leaving a toxic relationship. It's about understanding that loving someone shouldn't require losing yourself.

“I used to think love was sacrificing yourself for someone. Now I know love is protecting one's peace and happiness.”

With her debut, Sierra hopes listeners who have found themselves caught in similar cycles can begin finding their way back to themselves.
